The Lion King Simba and Nala Employee-Exclusive Limited Edition Cel #129/188

"I've really missed you." Believing Simba died long ago, Nala is relieved and excited to see that he is still leaving. At the 57:45 mark of the Disney Renaissance movie The Lion King, we are treated to the lovely image featured in this hand-painted limited-edition cel that showcases Nala tenderly caressing Simba. Since no production cels were used in the production of this Disney movie, limited edition cels like this one were created by the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department and offered exclusively to members of the Disney Feature Animation Department that participated in the production. Numbered 129 in the bottom right corner, out of an edition of 188, this 16-field presents a spectacular image size of 15.75" x 10.5", showcased on a printed copy of the background that shows up during the scene. The cel bears a Walt Disney Feature Animation stamp in the bottom left corner and is accompanied by a COA. The cel is taped to a 20" x 16" board, it shows minor handling wear, and the condition is Very Good to Fine.
