Tugboat Mickey Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Signed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston

"Hey, you! Give me my bucket!" demands a baffled Mickey as he realizes that a pelican has accidentally swallowed his bucket in this scene from the 1940 Walt Disney short Tugboat Mickey. This image, which was used to create the moment seen at 1:01 in the short, captures Mickey suspended on a wooden swing and cheerily whistling as he attempts to paint the mast on his tugboat, only to be foiled by a clumsy pelican. Mickey looks dapper in his sailor's uniform in this original animation drawing, created with graphite on animation paper. The drawing has been signed in graphite on its lower edge by Disney Legends Frank Thomas (1913 - 2004) and Ollie Johnston (1912 - 2008). The drawing has been framed with glass and matted, with a matboard aperture of 10.5" x 8.25". The condition of this lovely drawing is Very Good, with just slight handling, and the frame is sold as-is.
