One Hundred and One Dalmatians 5 Dalmatian Puppies Production Cel

Five adorable Dalmatians take center stage in this hand-painted production cel from one of Disney's most beloved animated films, 101 Dalmatians. Known for introducing the xerography technique developed by Ub Iwerks, this is the first Disney animated film to show the textured lines characteristic of this method, accomplished by printing the original animation drawing straight into the production cels, eliminating the process of inking. All shown in full figure, this amazing image of the five puppies has them measuring from 2.25" to 3" tall, as seen at the 50:13 mark of the movie, as the group prepares to escape with the help of Sergeant Tibbs. The cel is presented on a printed background and displayed on a 23.5" x 19.5" Plexiglas fronted frame with a 15" x 10.75" mat opening. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Overall, the lot shows minor handling wear from production and is in Very Good condition.
